In August, 2013, The Nature Conservancy and partners will launch a new Coastal Resilience platform including ten local or regional geographies around the world and one global application. This Coastal Resilence network of web mapping applications includes a consstent, high performing data viewer with specific components, called plugins, tailored to individual geographies. Launch of the new decision support tools will include a global reach, a unified database management system, customized tools specific to each region, the ability to access external spatial data resources, mobile versions, high quality visual design and quick, responsive user experience.
